i think the title is "Vaedikkai Manidhar", but i first heard the song in the film Mahanadhi, rendered beautifully by none other than Kamal Hassan. You can find these words in my orkut album...

Do you read Mahakavi' poems? They are thought provoking and powerful enough to change someone's senile mind. Well I didnt understand all your words..

I understood most of it, except for the being. Why did this poem come to your mind?

Back home we had neighbours who were in their 70s, both mamma and mammi knew almost every mahakavi's song by heart. If you pass into their house, you might find them singing those poems while doing their daily chores. My eagerness and appreciation for his poems is confimned to Mp3.

as one of my previous comments says, it comes in the movie Mahanadhi, which is my favorite. This song has a great impact on me. pull arikkum varigaL. if one knows fair amount of tamil and if one happens to analyse the meaning of his songs, the appreciation part is automatic...
