Give up?

Sometimes, you got to lose something in order to find something...
...but most times, there is no equivalent to being perseverant and hopeful.

Let's hope that the branch breaks off completely and the man survives...and more importantly, let's hope that he realizes that giving up is the easiest thing to do.

Agree. I consider running away from life as cowardly.

There is one inherent assumption in the cartoon -
"All problems can be solved with money"

... with which I disagree!

Anyway, coming to suicide, there are myriad reasons for it, to simply it as running away from life or giving up is not acceptable!

Tell that to a terminal cancer patient - they'd want to kill you!

K7- yupp..

Vidya- thanks. i was going to name the post "Irony", but saw hope even in the irony and changed it. Nothing brewing for now. got a lot of ideas...nothing solid enough to write a new story :)

Ramya- thanks. go for it ;)

Naren- i think the assumption is that money will solve that particular man's problem. The solutions are different for different people, with the one common solution being perseverance. That includes the terminal cancer patient you are talking about.

Gads- hehe :D

Ponnarasi- welcome here! thanks for reading the stories...am glad u liked them :)

naren, how did you identify that assumption? i was thinking more along the lines of " Life is full of surprises.. You might get one even at your (possibly) last moment"
